Green Impact

Do you want to make a Green Impact?

Please click here for the full Green Impact Story.

The aim is to reduce our environmental impact through encouraging, rewarding and celebrating environmental good practice within departments.

The second phase of Green Impact is now open to all staff across the University, so sign up your department today by emailing Sustainability Officer Andy Norris A.Norris@westminster.ac.uk.

Green Impact is part of 3 projects which come under the umbrella of Degrees Cooler, a nationwide environmental programme. The other two projects are Going Greener and Student Switch off. In addition to Green Impact, the University of Westminster is participating in Going Greener.

How it works

Staff are given a Green Impact Book (an excel document) with Bronze, Silver and Bonus criteria to complete. Each criterion is a clear, easy to implement action. You will probably be doing some of the actions already.

Teams can work at their own pace. Bronze is essential while Silver and Bonus are optional. We will support you throughout the project.
