The Tomorrow's Leaders Project

The Tomorrow's Leaders Project

Tomorrow's Leaders is a part of the University's Corporate Sustainability and Responsibility Agenda and it aims to bring together the whole university community (students, academics and staff) to pursue their project ideas relating to sustainability (at the university and the community at large), and social and community concerns.

The project has been set up by the Community Volunteering Unit (CVU) within Careers in Student Employment (CaSE), University of Westminster Students Union (UWSU), Centre for Excellence in Professional Learning at the Workplace (CEPLW), and WestmARC.

The ethos of the project is to get involved together to make the university a more sustainable and socially responsible place. If you have any ideas and projects that you would like to undertake (sustainability or social), the Tomorrow's Leaders project is the perfect forum to get things done and make your voice heard.

Two levels of the project

The Tomorrow's leaders project works on two levels: inspiring and supporting students to get involved with sustainability activities and (see above) and embedding aspects of sustainability in the curriculum.

We have had two academics working in the project: Dr. Rosemary Snelgar, Dept. of Psychology (SSHL), and Professor Marion Roberts, Dept. of Urban Development and Regeneration (SABE).
