What was the Graduate Internships Project?
The University of Westminster put in a successful bid to HEFCE to fund between 30 and 50 Graduate Internships with national and regional employers.
- Duration: A min. of six weeks and max. of eight weeks.
- Eligible interns: All graduates of 2008 and 2009 looking for employment options.
- Eligible organizations: Digital industry, financial and professional services, small businesses (any sector).
What were the benefits to the intern?
- Project based experience with small businesses, organizations in the professional and financial sector and the digital industry.
- An opportunity to develop transferable skills.
- Gain valuable professional experience.
- A chance to build your contacts in industry.
- Potential to be evaluated and trained for possible future employment.
