Winsome Odusina (Module Lead MF)

Winsome Odusina is an independent Management Consultant with over 18 years experience of training and development in the Independent sector and Local Government. She currently works as an independent trainer and consultant and delivers a management development program accredited by the University of Westminster.

Marion Jackaman (Module Lead MI)

Marion has been involved with the MHSC programme for the last 8 years both as a set facilitator and as the module lead for the Managing Information module. She is a freelance trainer/consultant following over thirty years experience in the public sector. Marion has experience in service delivery, change management, staff & organisational development, and policy/procedure development. She has held a number of business critical positions within Health and Social Care organisations, currently undertaking short-term/interim management positions, ensuring that she has a wealth of knowledge within the sector and its current issues.

Jill Armfield (Subject Area Leader Module Lead PTE)

Dr Jill Armfield is the Subject Area Leader (co-ordinator) for Organisational Behaviour / Human Resources Management in the Harrow Business School and has worked at the University since 1991. Prior to this she worked in Human Resource Management and have experience in both public and private sectors.

Jill gained her PhD in Applied Psychology from Cranfield University, with a research topic on Organisational Change and Leadership in the Public and Voluntary Sector. She is involved in teaching undergraduate and postgraduate programmes; as well as tutoring on short courses for managers and the Managing Health and Social Care programme.


Jill is a member of the British Psychological Society and a chartered Fellow (FCIPD) of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development.

Wendy Smith (Module Leader, Managing Your Enterprise)

Wendy Smith has been involved with the MHSC programme for the last 6 years both as a set facilitator and as the module lead for Managing Your Enterprise module. She also has her own business as a freelance trainer/consultant following over twenty years experience in the public sector.

Wendy has diverse experience in Health and Social Care. Her career began in Early Years and Social work followed by management in a variety of settings, leading to her current interest and experience in learning and development. This includes service delivery, change management, staff & organisational development, and policy/procedure development. Wendy is committed to CPD which includes some direct work ensuring that she has a wealth of knowledge within the sector and the current issues.

Lorna Brooks (Programme Co-ordinator)

Lorna is the programme co-ordinator and a part time lecturer on the Managing Health and Social Care postgraduate programme. She has over 10 years experience of working in Health and Social Care as a freelance trainer, coach, mentor, NVQ Assessor and Internal Verifier. Lorna is also principal of Ara Training. David Braithwaite

David Braithwaite is an experienced Adult educator and Management
Consultant. He has held a number of senior executive positions in public and private sector organizations, including Higher Education and the Health Service. David has also held a number of Government appointments in an academic and professional capacity, as well as functioning as a facilitator and advisor to several voluntary organizations and groups. He continues to facilitate cohorts of students on Post Graduate Management programmes, both nationally and internationally.  David is also a Senior Magistrate.
