Can I join the course if I'm unemployed?

No. The courses are designed for newly appointed, experienced or aspiring managers currently employed in the field of Health and Social Care. If you are currently not working in the field, check out these alternative courses.
Do I need to have any previous qualifications?
No but if you do not have previous higher education qualifications then you will need to demonstrate your ability to study at this level.

Can I study via distance learning?

This is not available to students at present and whilst it may in the future be possible to study all the programme through e-learning, participants on the courses benefit greatly from their shared interaction with others on the courses.

Can I transfer across previous qualifications?

Yes if they are at an appropriate and relevant level. They will also be subject to the approval of the AP(E)L board which considers them.

Can I self fund myself on the course?

Most students are funded by their employers but a minority are self-funded. The University allows for staged payments from self-funding students.

Where does the course take place?

Generally, these part-time courses are delivered at  commissioners’ premises or other suitable venues throughout England. Courses also run at the Westminster Business School.
