Biography
Abdelhafid Benamraoui joined WBS in January 2006. He has a First Class Honours degree in Finance from the University of Constantine and a PhD in Finance from the University of Greenwich Business School. His academic career spans across nine years in which he developed and taught various modules in accounting and finance, including Financial Accounting; Managerial Accounting; Corporate Finance; and Financial Markets at the University of Greenwich Business School, European Business School and University of Westminster. Abdelhafid supervised many undergraduate, postgraduate and executive research projects. He has also involved in the validation of MBA and postgraduate courses.
Teaching
Abdelhafid teaches Fundamentals of Financial Accounting; Strategic Financial Management; Managerial Accounting and Performance Measurement; Advanced Financial Accounting; and International Finance.
Abdelhafid has been involved in the delivery of SII training courses since 2005. He has also delivered training sessions to senior managers on various occasions.
Research
Abdelhafid has ten years experience in research. His research interests are in the areas of electronic banking, financial reforms in transitional economies and non-interest banking and finance. He has published and presented many research papers at both national and international conferences.
Conferences and professional practice
During Abdelhafid's employment at the European Business School he developed an innovative executive programme for the Agricultural Bank of China (the fourth largest bank in China).
