Biography
Prior to joining WBS in 2009, Mark was a senior associate at the law firm Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver & Jacobson LLP in New York and Frankfurt, Germany, where he worked in the areas of capital markets and corporate law. He previously worked at the law firm Linklaters in London and at the law firm Clifford Chance in Frankfurt, and he served as a guest lecturer at the Johann Wolfgang-Goethe University in Frankfurt, Germany.
Mark has been named a Truman Scholar in the U.S., a Rotary Scholar in Canada and a Robert Bosch Fellow in Germany as well as received a DAAD scholarship in Germany and an Overseas Research Students Award in the UK.
He also serves as a research associate in the law faculty at the University of Lucerne, Switzerland.
Teaching
Mark teaches business law, international trade and finance law, European Union law and corporate governance and social responsibility.
Research
Mark's research interests include European Union law, developments in the capital markets and arbitration.
