Biography
After completing his undergraduate degree and teacher training, Declan went into education and taught at secondary level. Later Declan undertook training in accountancy, completing his professional examinations while working and gaining practical accountancy experience in industry, banking and practice. This valuable experience has helped to inform his teaching. Declan joined the Finance and Business Law (FBL) department of the University of Westminster in 2003 where he is the course leader of the MSc Finance and Accounting.
Teaching
Declan teaches primarily on Masters courses in the areas of Management Accounting, Public Sector Finance and Corporate Finance.
Consultancy and professional practice
In 2009, Declan took on the responsibility of Business Development Leader for the FBL department.
