Biography
Dr Sheeja Sivaprasad joined WBS in 2008 as Senior Lecturer. She completed her MSc Investment Management at Cass Business School. She then attained her PhD in Finance from Cass Business School.
Teaching
Sheeja teaches on the undergraduate and postgraduate modules Financial Accounting, Management Accounting, Financial Strategy, Valuation of Securities, Modern Portfolio Management and Research Methods.
Research
Sheeja's research interests lie in the area of coporate finance, asset pricing and capital structure, with her PhD thesis examining the value effects of capital structure of listed companies in the UK. Currently, she is working on capital structure issues in the UK and US as well as performance of pension funds in UK.
