Biography
Philip Williams joined the University in 1991 and has had various roles in the past including subject area leader, course leader for BA International Business with Language, Erasmus exchange co-ordinator and Employability Tutor. In addition to teaching and research current duties include placement tutor, Tutorial Advice Office tutoring and personal tutor.Teaching
Philip's teaching responsibilities include both postgraduate and undergraduate courses in international trade and finance law. He also specialises in teaching consumer law, corporate governance and business law generally. He supervises relevant dissertations at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
Research
Philip's current research is on the role of internet technologies and interlectual property rights; law and literature; the doctrine of consideration.
