MPhil/PhD Study in English, Linguistics and Cultural Studies
We welcome applications from students wishing to pursue graduate research on a range of topics. Particular specialisms in the department include the fin de siecle; gothic; literary London; aesthetics and critical theory; early modernist writing; visual culture; Samuel Beckett; the Brownings; the contemporary novel; lexicography; creole linguistics; phonetics; and syntax.
