Unilateral spatial neglect is a curious consequence of brain damage in which patients can behave as if half the world has ceased to exist. I will discuss how modulators of neglect severity can tell us interesting things about the disorder and led us to discover some rather surprising things about the normal brain. I will also talk about the useful perspectives that clinical psychology can bring to neurorehabilitation.
