Professional
I earned my BSc in Psychology (2004) and MSc in Health Psychology (2005) from London Metropolitan University; just recently (July, 2011) I have been awarded a PhD from the same institution. Within the last five years I got intensive teaching experience at Canterbury Christ Church University and London Metropolitan University. Furthermore I delivered AS and A2 level (AQA-A) Psychology revision courses for the PIER17 and PIER18 Widening Participation (Aim Higher) Scheme. Moreover, I contribute to a plethora of Psychology undergraduate and postgraduate modules at the University of Westminster with emphasis on Quantitative and Qualitative Research Methods.
Research Interests
I conduct research in the area of personality and individual differences psychology with a focus on cognitive and emotional self-regulation and motivation. Other research interests comprise: Health Psychology, particularly dealing with stress, coping strategies and resilience; Psychopathology/Abnormal Psychology, particularly depressive disorders & anxiety disorders; Positive Psychology, particularly psychological well-being and quality of life; Empirical Quantitative Projects.
