Social psychology; student experiences in Higher Education; health psychology; qualitative research methodology and survey methods

General Information

Carol is a Senior Lecturer in Psychology. Her teaching interests are in Social, Developmental and Critical Psychology. Her research focuses on aspects of teaching and learning in Higher Education, including student expectations and achievement predictors, student progression and social and academic integration. Recent research has also focused on both first year and minority group undergraduate students' experiences in Higher Education and more specifically Psychology as a discipline. Carol specialises in qualitative methodology
