Background Information

Rosemary graduated from Keele, and later returned to the Department of Communication and Neuroscience for a PhD, supervised by Professor David Foster and Dr James Heron of North Staffordshire Royal Infirmary. She continued that research, on colour vision and vision in patients with multiple sclerosis in a postdoctoral appointment. She then joined a team at Aston University investigating perception of road signals for the Department of Transport. Subsequently she worked with June Calvert and John Harris in the Perceptual Systems Research Centre at Bristol, on vision in schizophrenia and Parkinson's Disease.

At Westminster, Rosemary changed research direction to the topics listed above. Rosemary is co-author, with former colleagues Nicky Brace and Richard Kemp, of the book SPSS for Psychologists now into its third edition.
