Swingers - an assignment for the Picture Story module won Irina the coveted Ian Parry award. Since graduating, Irina has participated in the World Press Masterclass and is currently working in London.

Fiona Halliday
Fionas major project took her to the East coast of Scotland to investigate and document what might be the last of the Sea Salmon fishermen from this coastal region.

Ilan Godfrey
Ilan was awarded the opportunity to document the rehearsals of Enchantment at The National Theatre, London. Ilan submitted the resulting body of work for his Major Project.

Yannis Kontos
A 2005 alumni, Yannis won the World Press Photography Awards contemporary issues section [YEAR?] with his powerful story from Sierra Leone, focusing on Abu Bakarr Kargbo, one of the thousands of amputees afflicted by the Revolutionary United Front (RUF) atrocities during the 1991-2002 civil war.

Lefteris Pitarakis
Lefteris covered the conflict in the Lebanon in 2006 for AP while completing his masters at Westminster. This portfolio was submitted as his Major Project. Lefteris continues to work for AP globally.

Michaela Danelova
Michaelas Major Project documented life inside a mental hospital in the Czech Republic. The submission was in the form of a book designed by Michaela.
Jason Larkin
Jason Larkin spent 8 weeks documenting the emergence of a growing middle class in Mumbai, India, and submitted a comprehensive portfolio for his Major Project.
Yiannis Katsaris
Yiannis documented the Circus Training Academy for Zippos Circus, spending six weeks on the road with the crew, and submitted the resulting pictures for his Major Project in the form of a book.

Reinhard Keck
Reinhard documented the G8 summit for his Major Project in the summer of 2007 for Camera Press. Talent has been recognized by the Student Media Guardian Awards for 2007, in which he was a runner-up.

Ode Magazine
In the second semester, students are divided into small groups and have to produce a magazine, including all text and images, to their own design and specification. ODE was one of three magazines produced in 2006.
