Background
Following a management career in business, Jane trained as a Nutritional Therapist at the Institute of Optimum Nutrition in Putney. She runs a busy nutrition practice in London and is a Senior Lecturer and Clinical Supervisor for the BSc Nutritional Therapy degree course at the University of Westminster. She currently completing a MSc in Nutritional Medicine at the University of Surrey.
Jane’s areas of special interest include nutrition for endurance sports, weight management, eating disorders, hormonal imbalance and mental health, although she deals with a wide range of conditions in her clinic.
For businesses, Jane runs ‘Health at Work’ - a seminar programme that considers how nutrition can help deal with the pressures of working life. She also delivers a number of professional training programmes for the National Centre for Eating Disorders.

- Dietary practices amonst club level endurance athletes
- Thyroid and adrenal function
- Nutritional therapy in the context of sports medicine
Current Research / Ongoing Projects
Preparation of dissertation for MSc in Nutritional Medicine, University of Surrey investigating whether dietary practices amongst club level runners training for the London Marathon 2010 meet commonly accepted guidelines for the composition of diets during marathon training.
